A new and modern design horizontal monobloc Automatic Case Packer INC-12 AS MERCURIUS for packing products into small and medium sized cases: particularly suited to the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and cosmetic sectors. The machine has been designed paying particular attention to overall compactness, accessibility and ease of format changeover whilst maintaining the usual Siempharma standards of robustness and reliability. The cantilever structure, with separation of the mechanical parts from the product handling area, allows the operator side of the machine to be easily accessed for product feeding, management and day-to-day maintenance. The simple and reliable case forming/transfer/closure system linked with the proven product staking/loading system make the machine extremely reliable and suitable to work in particularly heavy environments and conditions. Case closure can be done using adhesive tape or by the application of hot-melt glue. The “INC-12 AS MERCURIUS” case packer can be equipped with optional accessories such as: taping device with overlap of the tape around the whole case perimeter, case printing device, label application, label printer, etc…

Carton feeding system. Variable speed infeed belt with length to be defined according to the layout. Adjustable stainless-steel upper and side guides for a perfect carton transport.
Cartons stacking system. Carton lifter commanded and stainless-steel side guides.
Case pick-off and erection system. This operation is carried out by means of a mobile arm with suction grippers which pick-off the case opening it
before completely erecting and inserting it in the squaring lugs. This allows low grammage board to be used even when handling square-section
formats or case with gluing and creasing imperfections.
Case flaps closing system. The case bottom side flaps are closed before cartons introduction.
Cartons pusher managed by brushless motor for a gentle and precise movement. Stainless-steel hopper for the positive introduction in the case. The
system is specifically designed to facilitate the aggregation inspection by camera control.
Case magazine. Good autonomy of the case magazine, easy to be accessed, located at ergonomic height to facilitate loading.
Cases transport group. The group is composed of a “crocodile” conveyor system.
Automatic taping modules with horizontal taping applicators.
